Brown Rice and Chicken
I have difficulty cooking rice. I've tried every imaginable method and variety of rice. Strangers at the supermarket and on the train offer tips and advice, but nothing has ever worked.
Until finally, on Friday, my friends bought me a rice cooker for my birthday.

Here, my first celebratory meal featuring rice? Grilled sesame-orange chicken, steamed veggies and brown rice.
