Yum! We had it a few times lately too. Rory and two of his friends were here, both from California. One said "I am not very fond of strawberries." I was in shock, but he agreed to try some shortcake. Four helpings later I think he is a convert to vine-ripened strawberries. Those store-bought ones don't cut it with me either!
